WHAT IT DOES

Turn Other People's Audiences Into Your Sales Channel

92% of consumers trust peer recommendations over brand content. Influencer marketing and UGC gives your brand access to that trust at scale.

When a creator your target customer already follows recommends your brand, it carries a weight no ad can replicate. It is not a sponsored message interrupting their feed; it is a person they trust, talking about something they just discovered.

MissionArmy identifies the right creators for your category, manages the brief and approval process, and ensures every piece of content is authentic to the creator's voice while delivering your key messages. Creator content is then amplified into the communities where your audience already gathers, extending reach well beyond the creator's original following.

UGC content created for your campaigns can also be repurposed into whitelisted paid ads run from the creator's account, combining organic credibility with paid scale.

HOW IT WORKS

From Creator Brief to Live Content in 5 Days

The process is designed to get authentic content live as fast as possible, then compound its reach through community amplification.

01

Creator Matching

We identify the creators whose audience exactly matches your target customer: the right platform, the right niche, the right follower count, and the right engagement rate. We focus on fit over follower numbers. A creator with 12,000 engaged followers in your exact niche consistently outperforms a creator with 800,000 general-interest followers. Creator vetting covers account health, audience authenticity, content quality, and category relevance.

02

Brief, Production, and Approval

We write the creator brief with your goals, key messages, and mandatory inclusions, then hand off creative execution to the creator. This is intentional. Audiences can detect when a creator's content has been scripted by a brand, and that detection kills trust. The creator's voice, delivery, and framing remain theirs. Your brand gets the authentic recommendation, not a polished ad that their audience will scroll past. You review and approve before anything goes live.

03

Distribution and Amplification

Once content goes live on the creator's owned channels, we amplify its reach through two parallel tracks. Organic amplification: the content is seeded into relevant community threads, subreddits, Discord servers, and Facebook groups where discussions about your category are already happening. Paid amplification (optional): creator content is repurposed into whitelisted ads run directly from the creator's account, achieving paid reach with organic-looking creative. Every placement is tracked and reported with live URLs and engagement metrics.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions About Influencer Marketing and UGC

Influencer marketing and UGC (user-generated content) are related but distinct strategies that serve different purposes in a content plan.

Influencer marketing involves partnering with a creator who already has an established audience and paying them to feature your brand to that audience. The creator publishes content on their own channels and their followers see it in context: a person they trust and follow, recommending a product or service. The value is borrowed trust and reach. You are renting access to a relationship the creator has built with their audience.

UGC (user-generated content) refers to content created in the style of authentic user reviews or recommendations, produced by freelance creators rather than your own marketing team, and licensed to your brand for use in paid advertising, website social proof sections, or email campaigns. The creator does not need a large following because the content is not distributed to their audience: it is distributed to yours, in your channels. UGC performs well in paid ads because it looks like organic content rather than polished brand advertising.

MissionArmy runs both as an integrated system. Influencer campaigns generate reach and earned trust. UGC campaigns generate content assets that can be used for months across paid and organic channels. The combination produces content that works in two directions: creator-to-their-audience (influencer), and brand-to-target-audience via paid (UGC). Campaigns that combine both consistently outperform campaigns that use only one.

Creator selection is one of the most consequential decisions in an influencer campaign. MissionArmy uses a five-factor vetting process for every creator before recommending them for a campaign.

First, audience fit. We analyse the creator's audience demographics to verify that the people watching their content match your target customer profile. A beauty creator with a predominantly 18-24 female audience in the US is a strong match for a cosmetics brand and a poor match for a B2B SaaS tool. We look at age, location, gender split, and interest categories.

Second, engagement rate and quality. We calculate the creator's genuine engagement rate (likes, comments, saves, shares divided by average reach, not follower count) and assess comment quality. High follower counts with low engagement or generic comments are signals of an inflated or disengaged audience. Micro-creators with 5,000 to 50,000 followers routinely achieve engagement rates three to six times higher than macro-creators with 1 million or more followers in the same category.

Third, content quality and alignment. We review the creator's last 30 pieces of content for production quality, consistency of voice, and category relevance. A creator who has posted 12 times about topics adjacent to your product will deliver more credible content than a creator who covers anything and everything.

Fourth, account health. We check for signs of artificial follower growth, sudden follower spikes, and bot activity using third-party analytics tools.

Fifth, past partnership performance. Where available, we request performance data from the creator's previous brand partnerships to validate their claimed reach and engagement numbers against actual campaign results.

The result is a shortlist of creators with strong genuine fit for your brand, not a list of creators who were simply available and willing to post.

Yes. Creator content repurposed into paid advertising is one of the highest-performing ad formats available today, and it is a core part of MissionArmy's influencer and UGC offering.

The mechanism is called creator whitelisting or dark posting. In a whitelisted campaign, your brand runs paid ads directly from the creator's account rather than from your brand account. The ad appears in users' feeds as content from a real person, not a corporate advertiser. Audiences are significantly less likely to scroll past it because it does not trigger the mental filters people apply to obviously branded content. Click-through rates on whitelisted creator ads consistently outperform standard brand ads by 40 to 80% in category after category.

There are two ways to access creator content for paid use. The first is rights licensing from influencer campaigns: you negotiate usage rights as part of the creator agreement, giving your brand the right to repurpose their content in paid channels for a defined period, typically 90 days to one year. The second is UGC-specific production: you brief freelance creators to produce content styled as authentic user recommendations, with no requirement that they publish to their own audience. The content is created solely for your paid channels and website.

MissionArmy handles both approaches. Rights licensing terms are built into every influencer campaign brief as standard. UGC production can be commissioned as a standalone service if your goal is paid ad creative rather than organic reach. The two outputs can be combined: a single creator brief can produce both an organic post for the creator's audience and a raw version of the content formatted for your paid ad campaigns.
